- Sarah Petrosky - Author -
​Sarah Petrosky graduated from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Mass Communication with dual emphases in Public Relations and Journalism. Petrosky spent a decade working at the Baltimore Sun Media group as a writer and editor of special advertising sections. Today, she is a Marketing Manager for LifeBridge Health.
Petrosky was on maternity leave when she saw a few character sketches from illustrator Christie Sheridan and knew that she wanted to help bring these characters to life.

Christie Rhoads graduated from The Maryland Institute College of Art and received a bachelor’s degree in Animation with a Concentration in Illustration. She spent the first part of her career producing digital media for the Baltimore Sun, and then for The Chicago Tribune. Today she is the Director of Animation and Graphic Design for an application security company and specializes in the production of eLearning content.
Christie knew she wanted to create a series of children’s books with a focus on personal well-being. She passed along a few sketches to writer Sarah Petrosky and The Magic of Making Friends was born.
